Mallika is a Clinical Psychologist based in Melbourne, Australia.

Sessions are conducted via Telehealth (online using video link) or Telephone.

Session fees are $220 (business hours) and $230 (after hours). A discounted rate of $200 ($210 after hours) applies for full time students and health care card holders. Extended sessions for EMDR (90 minutes) are $280 (business hours) and $290 (after hours) .

You do not need a referral to see a psychologist, however if you are in Australia, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate with a referral from a Doctor/GP (called a Mental Health Treatment Plan). The current rebate is $141.85 per session for up to 10 sessions per calendar year.

For private health fund eligibility & rebates, please contact your health fund for advice.

Regular sessions are approximately 50-55 minutes in length. Payment required at the time of session.

Cancellations less than 48 hours in advance will incur a $100 late cancellation fee. Medicare rebates are not available for late cancellations.

Please note that requests for letters or reports are usually charged at the hourly rate, however this may increase depending on the type of report required.

    Mallika is an accredited Work and Development Permit (WDP) sponsor for Fines Victoria. Processing fee of $30 per fine applies

    Mallika is also trained to use Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). For more information about EMDR, please click here.

Mondays

  • After hours: 5pm - 7pm

Wednesdays

  • Business hours: 10am - 5pm

  • After hours: 5pm - 7.30pm

Other evenings after hours may be available on request.

The recommended fee by the APS (2024/25) for a 45-60 minute session is $311.00
